COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Aug. 19, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo isn't expected to become a playoff team in 2013, according to the RMAC coaches, as it was picked to finish 10th in the conference this season.
CSU-Pueblo, which finished 2012 with a 15-15 record in 10th place, was picked to repeat that finish and again miss the RMAC playoffs.
In 2012, CSU-Pueblo recorded its best start since 1997 when it opened 8-1 and finished at .500 or above for a second straight year, marking the first time since 1996 and 1997 that it achieved the feat. The ThunderWolves lost just two seniors from the 2012 squad.
CSU-Pueblo opens its 2013 schedule on the road when it takes on West Texas A&M Sept. 5.
