PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado State University-Pueblo volleyball team will host a pair of events over the next couple weeks for fans of all ages. The ThunderWolves (13-11, 7-7 RMAC) are in the midst of a critical stretch of matches over the final two weeks of the regular season and are encouraging fans to join in and support the team. The Pack are currently in a tie for sixth place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings with just four matches remaining in the regular season.
CSU-Pueblo will host one of the teams that they are tied with in the league standings Friday night when the Adams State University Grizzlies visit Massari Arena for a Halloween showdown. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans young and old are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes, with prizes to be awarded to the best individual costume and the best group costume theme. Additionally, a trick-or-treat station will be set up for children.
The ThunderWolves annual ThunderPups clinic, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, will now be held Nov. 5 from 6-7 p.m. at Massari Arena. Participants are welcome to stay after the clinic and watch the Pack conduct practice. The clinic is free and open to all members of the ThunderPup Club. Members will receive a ThunderPup Club card which permits free admission to all 2014-15 ThunderWolves' athletic events. Parents interested in signing their children up for the ThunderPups Club can do so at the event or beforehand on the club's home page on gothunderwolves.com.
