Pablo Lana named Pack Volleyball Assistant Coach

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 23, 2016) Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball has announced that Pablo Lana will serve as the team's Assistant Coach for the 2016 season.

"We are very excited to have Pablo join our coaching staff," Head Coach Jill Muhe said. "He brings with him a tremendous coaching back ground at a variety of levels."   

Lana brings 25 years of volleyball experience to the Pack. Since 2004, Lana has run the club program at North State Volleyball Academy in Anderson, California.

In addition to his club experience, Lana has coached collegiately at Shasta College, St. Mary's College, and Diablo Valley College.

"Being able to add such an experienced voice will greatly benefit our athletes," Muhe said.  

Originally from Spain, Lana has the majority of his coaching career in the northern California area. He has also coached high school volleyball at both Enterprise High School, Anderson High School, and San Ramon High School.

CSU-Pueblo will open its season Sept. 2-3 in the Texas Women's Tournament. The Pack will host Angelo State in their home opener Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. at Massari Arena.
