PUEBLO, Colo. (September 28, 2017) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball returns home this weekend to face a couple of rivals. The ThunderWolves will meet Steel & Silver trophy rival, University of Colorado Colorado Springs Friday and clash with Metro State University of Denver Saturday. Both matches will start at 7 p.m. at Massari Arena.
Promotions: Fans will receive free admission for Saturday's matchwith a Pack Football ticket.
ThunderWolves at a Glance:
CSU-Pueblo returns to Massari Arena boasting a 1-1 record on their trip to the Mount Rushmore State. The ThunderWolves knocked off South Dakota School of Mines in four sets Saturday. One night earlier, they dropped a five-set battle with Black Hills State University. With a 1-3 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play the Pack will try to even their conference record at 3-3.
Caitlin Broadwell (Sr., Lawrence, Kan.) continues to stand among the league leaders in kills. Broadwell ranks third in the RMAC with 4.02 kills per set. The Pack's captain ranks 29th nationally in kills per set. Broadwell is coming off of a double-double where she had 20 kills and 12 digs to lead the Pack to victory over South Dakota Mines.
Both Misha McDowell (Sr., Gilbert, Ariz.) and Brooke Schilling (Fr., Platteville, Colo.) rank in the RMAC's top 10 in service aces. McDowell ranks eighth with 0.34 aces per set. Schilling is just one spot back in ninth with 0.33 aces per set.

Outlook: The Mountain Lions have won five of their last six matches. UCCS swept both Fort Lewis College and Adams State University last week. They also swept the RMAC Player of the Week honors.

Outlook: Like UCCS, the Roadrunners have a 6-6 record with a 3-1 conference mark. They also swept the Grizzlies and Skyhawks last week. The Roadrunners are the defending RMAC Champions.
