PUEBLO, Colo. (October 16, 2017) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball will host its only Tuesday match of the season when they face Westminster College, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in Massari Arena. Tuesday's match will also be Honor Roll Night in memory of Dr. Dan Caprioglio, Dig Pink Night, and Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at Massari Arena.
Promotions: CSU-Pueblo Athletics is offering free tickets to tomorrow's match for any CSU-Pueblo faculty and staff members as well as their immediate families. Tuesday's match will also be Dig Pink Night as the Pack tries to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Anyone who wears pink to Tuesday's match will receive a free ticket.
Finally, the Pack will recognize every student-athlete who achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher last spring with an honor roll presentation between sets two and three. This honor roll night has been dedicated to former CSU-Pueblo Faculty Athletics Representative Dr. Dan Caprioglio who passed away this summer.
ThunderWolves at a Glance:
The ThunderWolves and Griffins both enter the week with 2-8 records in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. CSU-Pueblo begins the week two games out of the final spot in the RMAC Tournament and a win over the Griffins could propel the Pack towards its fourth consecutive RMAC Tournament appearance.
CSU-Pueblo ranks fifth in the RMAC with 1.32 aces per set. Misha McDowell (Sr., Gilbert, Ariz.) stands eighth in the RMAC with 0.31 aces per set, McDowell is also a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Led by the 4.0 GPA of Mikala Morris (Sr., Tempe, Ariz.), the ThunderWolves placed nine current student-athletes on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. They earned an AVCA Team Academic Award for their performance in the classroom last season.

Outlook: The Griffins enter the week on a five-match losing streak. They are winless on the road in 2017, going 0-8 in matches outside of Salt Lake City. Westminster is the fifth best blocking team in the RMAC, averaging 1.89 blocks per set.
