PUEBLO, Colo. (October 11, 2018) – The well-traveled Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball team will embark on their sixth road trip in eight weeks when the ThunderWolves visit Chadron State College Friday at 6 p.m. and travel to Metro State University Denver Saturday at 4 p.m.
The ThunderWolves enter the weekend two matches out of the final Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament spot. However, the Pack has six teams in between them and the final RMAC Tournament place including the Eagles, which puts a premium on Friday's match.
CSU-Pueblo is 4-16 overall with a 2-9 record in RMAC play. The Pack is still the least blocked team in the RMAC. Opponents average just 1.66 blocks per set against the ThunderWolves.
Page Heller (Jr., Vancouver, Wash.) ranks third in the RMAC with 5.04 digs per set. In her first season at libero, Heller has 353 digs this season, the 12th highest single-season total in program history (rally scoring era). With 16 digs this weekend, Heller will vault into the top 10.
Sarah Vang (Jr., Parker, Colo.) leads the Pack with 2.96 kills per set. Vang had 10 kills in each of the Pack's two matches last week.
Sophomore Brooke Schilling (Platteville, Colo.) ranks seventh in the RMAC with 0.30 aces per set. This average would rank sixth all-time at CSU-Pueblo. Schilling ranks second on the Pack with 2.91 kills per set.
Setter, Grace Hern (Fr., Omaha, Neb.) ranks seventh in the RMAC with 9.15 assists per set. Hern has six double-doubles this season. She has averaged 2.46 digs per set.
Berkley Hays (Fr., Dallas, Texas) leads the Pack with 0.68 blocks per set. Hays leads Pack hitters with a .244 hitting percentage.
Scouting Chadron State:
The Eagles are 3-7 in RMAC play and 5-14 overall. They lost to Dixie State and Westminster College last weekend.
CSU-Pueblo leads the all-time series with the Eagles 21-11. Chadron State won last year's meeting 3-1.
The Eagles average a RMAC-worst 0.85 Chadron State. Ashton Burditt leads the RMAC with 5.81 digs per set.

MSU Denver leads the all-time series against the Pack 47-8. The Pack last defeated the Roadrunners Sept. 4, 1999.
