NEW ORLEANS, La. - The 2007 Division II Women's All-Region Cross
Country teams were announced today by the U.S. Track & Field
and Cross Country Coaches Association. CSU-Pueblo senior Lauren
Dunsmoor was one of 15 runners from the North Central Region, which
includes the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, to be selected to
the team.
Dunsmoor has won three of the five events in which she has competed
this fall, finishing a very close second in the RMAC Championships
behind fellow all-region honoree, Adams State's Brittany
Somers.
Dunsmoor qualified for nationals, as well, with a seventh place
finish at the North Central Regionals held in Vermillion, S.D. last
weekend.
The Adams State Grizzlies placed six athletes on the North Central
All-Region team, followed by the Tampa Spartans who placed five
athletes on the South All-Region team. Adams State won their fifth
regional title while Tampa picked up their second regional
title.

Los Angeles (West), Seattle Pacific (West), Lees-McRae (Southeast),
and Stonehill (East) each placed four athletes on All-Region
teams.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference led all Division II
conferences as PSAC athletes accounted for all 15 spots on the East
All-Region team. The Northeast-10 was a close second with 13
athletes, while Conference Carolinas and the Mid-America
Intercollegiate Athletics Association each had 11 athletes.
All-Region honors are given to an athlete who finishes in the top

the USTFCCCA.
