VIDEO PREVIEW: Pack harriers head to Colorado College Invitational Saturday


PUEBLO, Colo. (Sept. 8, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's and women's cross country squads continue the season Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Colorado College Invitational. Both races are set for the North Monument Valley Park, as the men's 8K race is set for 8:30 a.m. and the 6K women's race will follow at 9:30 a.m.

The Pack men are No. 7 nationally and are coming off a fourth place finish at the Colorado State Univeristy Duals, Sept. 1. Sophomore Paul Roberts (Boulder, Colo.) was fourth overall and first among Division II runners in the 5K race. 

The women are No. 20 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll and were seventh overall and second among Division II teams at the CSU Duals. Senior Miriam Roberts (Boulder, Colo.) ran to 16th overall and first of the Division II runners. She earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week honors Wednesday.
